Music that moves the soul ❤️
Last Sunday - April 13 - we were privileged to attend two extraordinary concerts.
James Whitbourn's moving Requiem resounded in the hall of the NOSPR, in which traditional liturgical texts met with modern musical language. “Requiem Canticorum” and ‘Son of God Mass’ created an emotional, contemplative experience. Organ and saxophone improvisations performed by Tomasz Orlow and Pavel Gusnar introduced the audience to a world of music on the border between classical and contemporary.
On the same day in the Parish of the Elevation of the Holy Cross and St. Herbert in Katowice there was a concert “Viam Passionis” - a musical meditation on the mystery of Holy Week. A spiritual experience in which the sounds led the listeners along a path of reflection and reverie.
✨ Both concerts featured:
Camerata Silesia under the direction of Anna Szostak
Paweł Gusnar - saxophone
Tomasz Orlow - organ
Thank you for this joint musical meeting. See the photo report from these extraordinary moments ❤️
